Kate Bush To Play Live

Singer returns to live performance for first time since 1979

Kate Bush has announced a series of 15 concerts at the Hammersmith Eventim Apollo which will take place in August and September of this year.

The revered singer virtually retired from performing live in 1979 after her first tour which lasted between April 2 and May 13. She was deeply affected by the death of her lighting engineer Bill Duffield on the first day of the tour and has since paid tribute to him in the songs 'Blow Away' and 'Moments Of Pleasure'. Since then she has only appeared on stage at a handful of charity concerts and to perform duets with the likes of Dave Gilmour and Peter Gabriel.
