The Liverpool International Festival Of Psychedelia earlier this year announced a very fine expansion of their psych realm, joining with the Effenaar venue in Eindhoven in The Netherlands for the suitably scientific-sounding Eindhoven Psych Lab, taking place from June 6-7. A host of Quietus favourites including Wooden Shjips, Hookworms, Föllakzoid, Terakaft, The Oscillation, Mugstar and Nisennenmondai have already been announced, and today Suuns and Spectrum have been added as headliners, as well as Night Beats, Pink Mountaintops, Great Ytene and Dans Dans. Also at the event will be two specially-curated segments: Fuzz Club Records will be bringing a collection of bands from their roster over the English Channel, including Sonic Jesus, Cosmic Dead, Wall Of Death, Radar Men From The Moon, The Underground Youth, The Wands and The Woken Trees, while Rocket Recordings will be conducting The Counterblast Experiment, entangling Teeth Of The Sea, Gnod, Terminal Cheesecake, Anthroprophh and Lay Llamas in the process.
