Lou Reed – Coney Island Baby
This is a bit of a sideways step. This isn't regarded as one of his best but I think it's one of his strongest albums. I just loved it. It's a bunch of really strong, emotional pop songs, like 'She's My Best Friend' and the title track. That dark cabaret Lou Reed used to do has been very influential on my own writing style.
