As part of New Music Cities, Dazed magazine and AllSaints’ series of video profiles of various cities’ music scenes, they’ve followed up their first edition, looking at New York, by taking a trip to South London. It features interviews with Roots Manuva and Katy B about being brought up in the capital, with the latter saying: "Growing up with pirate radio, that kind of connected the whole of London, so there’s that in a sense, but then you’re still getting that influx of culture coming in. Growing up in Peckham, I’d go to parties and it’d be bashment all night long or I’d go to a friend’s house, who was from Streatham, and she’d be really into drum and bass or you’d go to Croydon and go to CroyDub and listen to dubstep; the possibilities are endless." They also talk to Kwes in the studio, ascendant R&B singer Tawiah and Mount Kimbie, who perform a rooftop set – have a watch above, and head to AllSaints’ website for full session tracks and the series in full.
