Pink Floyd – Meddle
Especially for the tracks 'Echoes' and 'One Of These Days'. I was impressed with Pink Floyd when I was young – it was the first time I could relate to a music that gave me the impression I was in a dream. They were the first ones in pop music to include concrete sounds and long developments of sounds – you don't know where it is heading. It was much less predictable than the music I was hearing at the time. I spent hours listening to Pink Floyd.

Did you like the Syd Barrett-era Floyd?

Yes! I loved the first one, The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn – it was poppier, but the very best definition of what pop music is to me. It had the pertinence, hidden messages, melodies, but twisted in a way that makes you question things.
