Thin Lizzy - Remembering – Part 1
Phil Lynott was super human. I love all his stuff, including his junky solo records, but this particular compilation is absolute perfection from start to finish.

I like him as a songwriter first. He's also a tremendous singer and bassist. The guitar playing is clearly astounding, as well as the production. But for me it's his melodies and lyrics. Tim Greene told me once that he liked my acoustic version of ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’ and said they used 'jazz chords'! And he's right, the chord changes are quite surprising, but he makes it sound so natural.
