WATCH: Gary Numan Interview - Part 3
Laurie Tuffrey , October 16th, 2013 11:53

Numan: "By the end of 2014, we should have another album ready to go"

In the third video of the interview filmed at The Hospital Club in London last month, as well as questions about what he'd be doing if he wasn't making music and his favourite covers of his own music, Gary Numan says the follow-up to Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind) may arrive by the end of next year.

Explaining that he'll be touring in chunks in 2014 and writing in between, Numan says: "In the weeks I'm not touring, I've said I'm going to write one song a week. Now if that works out, I'm going to be sending Ade [Fenton, producer] stuff all through the year, so as I write a song he'll start producing it and working on it, so by the end of the year, we should have another album ready to go."

We'll have another instalment of the interview series tomorrow; head here and here for the previous two.
