U.S. indie veterans Superchunk recently released their sterling tenth album I Hate Music, out now on Merge Records, about which our reviewer Nick Hutchings concluded: "Far from being self-proclaimed slack mothers their work ethic and life ethos is to be admired, if not from afar, but from the front row of a sweaty mosh pit as if your own existence depended on it."

Taken from that album, the band have just released the Taiyo Kimura-directed video for 'Staying Home' - have a watch above, and head over to the label's website to get hold of the album.

Sterling? Not even a wooden nickel! Ya'll really need to stop venerating mediocrity even if it is just delusion that your own middling days, months, years have some greater value.

p/s: no talent = 'work ethic' (never worked too hard at becoming a better musician or ambitious, literature, inventive songwriter/composer however) = no talent
