We're happy announce that we'll be sponsoring the freshly-announced Esben And The Witch, Teeth Of The Sea and Thought Forms co-headline tour of the UK, beginning next month.

To mark the occasion, Esben have just posted their new video for 'Iceland Spar' from their second album, Wash The Sins Not Only The Face, released earlier this year.

Says guitarist Thomas Fisher: "The video documents the journey from a strange industrial complex in Luxembourg to the waterfalls of Plitvice National Park in Croatia and the giant fork stabbed into the lakebed in Vevey. We see the song itself as the rallying cry at the start of an expedition so setting it to the images of our trip seemed wholly appropriate."

Have a watch of the video at the foot of the piece, following the tour dates below, and head over to Esben And The Witch's website to get hold of tickets:

OCTOBER
Mon 7 - The Lexington, London
Tue 8 - Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
Wed 9 - Kazimier, Liverpool
Thu 10 - The Harley, Sheffield
Sat 12 - Cookie Jar, Leicester
Sun 13 - Sticky Mike's Frog Bar, Brighton
Mon 14 - The Exchange, Bristol

I'd love to go to this, but sadly the closest date to me is still about 220 miles away... Really more of an England tour than a UK tour, isn't it?

Thank you, thank you, thank you Quietus.

I caught this tour last night in Brighton and it was amonsgt my gigs of the year. All the bands were superb, Teeth of The Sea stole the honours, marginally.

The revelation last night though, was the confident live outfit Esben have become. Being a Brighton resident, I've caught them a lot in the past and never really come away that impressed. They were nothing short of superb last night.

Saw the show in Bristol last night and had a great time - Thought Forms were the surprise highlight for me as I had no idea how impressive they are live. Thanks to all three bands for coming out here.
