New video for Lope from recent album MeYouWeYou

London duo RocketNumberNine released their debut album, MeYouWeYou via Smalltown Supersound last month, and now we’ve got a first play of the video for the album’s opening track ‘Lope’ – have a watch above.

The band, comprising brothers Ben and Tom Page, have been busy of late. As well as their first LP, earlier this year they released a 12", ‘Roseland’/’Metropolis’, on Kieran ‘Four Tet’ Hebden’s Text label, their second record on the imprint, following previous 12", 2010’s ‘Matthew & Toby’. They’re also, excitingly, working on the new Neneh Cherry record – stay tuned for updates on that one.

In the meantime, the band will be playing a handful shows, beginning with a set at London’s Waiting Room later this month, on a bill that also features Throwing Snow and French electronics man Rone marking the reissue of his album Tohu Bohu – dates are below with a trailer for that gig following:

AUGUST

Fri 23 – The Waiting Room, London

OCTOBER

Mon 28 – Alte Feuerwache, Mannheim, Germany

Tue 29 – Berghain/Panorama Bar, Berlin, Germany
