These New Puritans, whose phenomenally ace album Field Of Reeds is out this week via Infectious, have just posted their video for ‘Fragment Two’, the first track we heard from the album [via Pitchfork and the Creators Project].
Directed by Daniel Askill, it’s a sweeping (literally, it’s one massive camera pan) attempt to capture the album’s vast scope, moving from desolate oil field to church interior to mountain vista, finally settling on the illuminated grid of a city at night.
