Exclusive first play of Glaswegian beatsmith's remix of 'How Much' by Smalltown Supersound's latest singing

Carmen Villain, former model-turned-spacey singer-songwriter, is the latest artist to be added to Norwegian disco and house imprint Smalltown Supersound's ever-expanding family of musicians. Previous releases on the label have included Todd Terje's stellar It's The Arps EP and cosmic disco auteur Lindstrom's most recent full length Six Cups Of Rebel, released earlier this year.

Villain's LP Sleeper, which hits stores April 27, is a record that thematically deals with detachment and, of course, the idea of sleep. Says Villain: "Most of my songs are about escaping something – escaping this weird vacuum, an unsatisfying world". Sleeper's release is preceded by two 12"s featuring remixes from Prins Thomas (who also sequenced the album) and Optimo's JD Twitch, which you can listen to below:
