Metronomy - Nights Out

I remember the single 'Holiday' landing, I put it on and thought, 'There's something there. It's a bit wonky, a bit dancy but I don't know if it's for me. I'll go back to it'. The next day I went back to it and played it again and decided to play it on air. And by the time I played it on air, I thought, 'This is good.' So when I got the album and lived with it I ended up thinking it was one of the great albums and I've come to regard Joe Mount as one of the greatest pop writers in the world. For these ears anyway, although I'm sure people who like Rihanna will disagree.
