Stream 'Roseland', due for release on Kieran Hebden's label imminently

Kieran Hebden, aka Four Tet, has spent the last couple of years releasing new music though his TEXT label, in a manner that typically involves minimal fanfare and run-up time, simply new slabs of wax hitting shelves and (generally) promptly selling out.

Hot off the heels of his 0181 compilation of older tracks and a recent single-sided 12" with an absurdly long title, the next release on the label looks set to be a collaboration between Hebden and London duo RocketNumberNine. The track 'Roseland', a slow-burning, jazzy number more akin to Hebden's pastoral early work than anything he's made recently, turned up on Soundcloud a couple of days ago, and is available for your streaming pleasure below. It was recorded and mixed by Sam Shepherd, aka Floating Points, a fellow London-based traveler through the realms surrounding house, jazz, funk and soul.
