Salford’s doyens of murky, motorik noise Gnod have announced a series of bimonthly experimental electronic live nights at their Islington Mill space.
Gesamtkunstwerk will be co-hosted by Burnt Offerings, and aims to collect together fellow sonic explorers, promising "outsider electronics, hardwarped machine rhythms and analogue debauchery all reflecting the postindustrial mill space".
The first event will be held on February 8, with a bill featuring Gnod and Vulj, both of whom will be residents, and topped by Basic House, the "brutal kraut, jittery tape-music, dense noise and minimalism" project of Middlesbrough’s Opal Tapes owner Stephen Bishop.
