Savages and Bo Ningen, two of The Quietus’ very favourite new bands, have united in ‘Nichijyou’, a belting single that features Jehnny Beth’s gothic holler all over the quartet’s fiendish psychedelic rock. It is unsurprisingly amazing, and out now via Stolen Recordings. The video for the track you can see above is just as terrific – unhinged Euro-Japanese androgyny that, a friend of The Quietus remarks, "looks like a perfume advert but in a very good way". Stay tuned for details of more Bo Ningen live action very soon, and believe us when we tell you that they’re one of the best bands you’ll go and see at the moment. Also, tonight – January 17th 2013 – the Pop Noir label (run by Jehn Savages) will be hosting an ace gig at Birthdays in London. Playing live will be Lescop and Bo Ningen’s Taigen Kawabe doing a solo set of his own work, with DJing from Savages and Pop Noir’s handsome Johnny Hostile, who has apparently just finished producing Savages’ debut album… which is due "spring 2013". OOOOOOO.
