Controversy-baiting psychedelics the Flaming Lips have released a track-for-track re-recording of King Crimson's 1969 album In The Court Of The Crimson King (artwork above) [via Exclaim].

Playing Hide And Seek With The Ghosts Of Dawn is a collaborative effort with New Fumes, Linear Downfall, Stardeath, White Dwarfs and Spaceface, released on multi-coloured vinyl in a highly limited edition way; The Future Heart report that it's only available at Good Records in Dallas, Texas.

But, you can listen to the album in full over at Satellite Heart Radio here.

Ah, this should be good, because Dark Side of the Moon was such a *massive* improvement on the original.

Oh no, what am I saying? MY WIFE'S GONNA KILL ME!!!!

They only collaborate on one song.

The record is great, though. Totally different from the original.
