Drummer recording new album with band; QOTSA added to bill for next year's Download Festival

Last night, Josh Homme told Radio 1's Zane Lowe that Dave Grohl has rejoined Queens Of The Stone Age to record on their new album [via BBC].
Speaking to Lowe, the Queens frontman said: "[Grohl] and I have this wonderful musical relationship which we don't have with other people. It's a very cool and comfortable position."
Grohl previously featured on their 2002 album Songs For The Deaf, which featured their calling card 'No One Knows' - have a watch of the video below. The band are currently close to completing the new album, which will be their sixth.
In other QOTSA news, they were earlier confirmed for the line-up of next year's Download.
