Andrew Bird: New Album And Gig

Chicagoan releases second album of the year in November

Andrew Bird is set to release his new album Hands of Glory (artwork above) on November 6 along with a performance at the Roundhouse in London on November 8.

The record sees Bird and his band playing to a single microphone with an entirely acoustic set-up. Acting as a companion piece to Break It Yourself released earlier this year, it features reinterpretations of previously released material, two brand new tracks and covers of Townes Van Zandt, the Handsome Family, Alpha Consumer and others.

Here’s the track listing:

  1. ‘Three White Horses’
  1. ‘When That Helicopter Comes’
  1. ‘Spirograph’
  1. ‘Railroad Bill’
  1. ‘Something Biblical’
  1. ‘If I Needed You’
  1. ‘Orpheo’
  1. ‘Beyond the Valley of the Three White Horses’
