More new squashed house from Trilogy Tapes

William Thomas Burnett, aka Wille Burns, is set to release a new 12” via Will Bankhead's Trilogy Tapes label. It's the follow-up to the House EP, released last year on Creme Organization. Despite having released under various monikers and his birth name since 2005, 'Willie Burns' is a fairly new pseudonym for the American producer, being launched last year with a release on Ron Morelli's L.I.E.S record label.

You can listen to music from the 12", via the Trilogy Tapes Soundcloud, below. Complete with bitcrushed synths, the two tracks, entitled 'Duh Duh Dunk' and 'The Overlord', have an eerie vintage slow-motion house flavour, a tad reminiscent of previous Trilogy Tapes releases by Kassem Mosse and Dro Carey.

Recent months have been a busy affair for Bankhead. The Wille Burns 12"s arrives shortly after the outing this week of Blawan's monstrous His He She & She EP, through Hinge Finger, the label he co-owns with Joy Orbison. Trilogy Tapes have also recently released a cassette by Madteo. Keep an ear to the Trilogy Tapes blog for more news as it arrives.
