Publishers running competition to find music to soundtrack promotional film for new book trilogy

The publishers Faber are looking for young musicians to write the soundtrack to a promotional film for a new fantasy trilogy.

They're looking for people aged between 13 and 18, either solo or in a band, to submit their original work to soundtrack the promo for Crewel, the first in a new trilogy by Gennifer Albin.

Winners will not only have their music used in the final film, but will be promoted on 'The Spark', Faber's online creative community, the Crewel Facebook page and by a variety of bloggers and websites. Additionally, they'll get £200 worth of iTunes vouchers, with two runners-up getting £50 of vouchers.
