This week, Tim Burgess announced details of a new solo album Oh No I Love You, an intriguing record made in Nashville, US of A in association with Kurt Wagner from Lambchop. The pair met in Manchester a decade ago, and Kurt agreed to write the lyrics on a record for which Tim would create the music. This was then recorded with a host of Nashville legends. Quietus ed Luke Turner recently went along to Rough Trade East to do a Q&A with Burgess, and we filmed it for posterity. You can watch the film above, and hear Burgess sing new material from Oh No I Love You along with an old Charlatans smash, rendered in acoustic form. Pre-order Tim's solo album here.

Really lovely little video, that. Tim's always been one of the most approachable musicians you could ever meet, but lately, he's so mellow that he might need to evolve casters :) Great guy, and always up to something. It's good to have him around.
