Whump no more

Bizarrely popular Antipodean sort of dub & bass outfit if you've accidentally carved out your brain with a spoon and fed it to a hermit crab act Pendulum have announced that their indefinite hiatus has now become a permanent one. Clash reports the group as saying "There will be no further Pendulum live shows. There are no current plans for a new album in 2013″. Pendulum's Rob Swire had recently told the Triple J radio station that being in Pendulum "felt like we were doing it because we had to." Swire will now concentrate on his Knife Party project.

odd choice because they could have milked it indefinitely, big double bills of slightly passe dance music with Skrillex throughout 2015/16, oceans of people, oceans of cash, all they have to do is press some buttons and wave a glowstick, they could have had all the sex in the world, I for one commend them walking away, Pendulum, the new masters of ascetic living.
