As we reported in February John Peel’s extensive record collection is being put online 100 discs at a time – and tomorrow sees the uploading of the first 100.
As mentioned on The Stool Pigeon earlier this morning, the project is a fairly hefty one given that it includes "the entirety of the late Radio 1 DJ’s whopping vinyl stash — some 25,000 vinyl LPs, 40,000 vinyl singles".
If all goes according to plan the first 100 items will be online tomorrow morning at The Space.org and there will be 100 new additions each consecutive week, along with features and sessions.
