For a few years now the Quietus has been keeping a weather eye on preposterous sci-fi comedy Iron Sky, a fan-funded film based on the premise that after the end of the Second World War, the Nazi top brass didn’t all die/run away to Argentina, but instead headed to the moon to plot a comeback. You can find out more at the Iron Sky website. We were first alerted to Iron Sky thanks to the fact that NSK industrial pop troupe Laibach have written the soundtrack. Today, they confirmed that this spring will see a special tour. Their facebook, accompanied by the image above (which makes the Threads traffic warden look friendly, announces: "Laibach has composed the soundtrack for this film and will perform selected songs from it live in concert, along with other material including some preview songs from their two forthcoming albums and a set of classic Laibach songs spanning from the early 80s to today." You can see some Iron Sky trailers below. Note that the filmmakers seem to have got some new funding between trailer one (where the Nazi invasion fleet has to fly to Earth under its own steam) and trailer two (where they pop out of massive intergalactic Zeppelins).
