Maria & The Mirrors and Blechdom From Blectum at the Vortex for Jonny Mugwump's monthly session tonight

Jonny Mugwump's monthly Exotic Pylon session returns to the Vortex tonight with another great line-up - if you're free this evening in London you'd be well advised to find your way across to Dalston for it.

This evening's gig features ace, thrashy, percussive London three piece Maria & The Mirrors (who we recently interviewed - see here), and a rare performance Kevin Blechdom and Blevin Blectum, both performing solo as well as a third collaborative set as Blechdom From Blectum.

In Mugwump's own words: "Pioneers in the development of the laptop as a musical instrument in its own right and wielders of a manic and surreal sense of humour... I really couldn't tell you what to expect, and that is one of the 8 million reasons that this will be a night to remember."

Tickets are £10, and available from here.

In other Exotic Pylon news, they're putting on the killer triple-header of King Midas Sound, Raime and Leyland Kirby on 27th January, for A Night In The Haunted Dancehall. It comes thoroughly recommended, and tickets are available here.
