New “Doom” Direction For Mumford & Sons

HAHAHAHAHAHA WE ARE NOT MAKING THIS UP OH FUCK

Risible sackcloth-and-waistcoat mock-yokel group Mumford & Sons have announced their second album will have a "doom folk" sound inspired by Black Sabbath. Quiet at the back there! Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, bassist Ted Dwarne said "[It’s] certainly more mature… The second record is just a reflection of our mindsets, where we’re all at. It’s doom folk, kind of like Black Sabbath meets Nick Drake." He added that inspiration "should come from emotions in your heart, not so much your head." If you used your head you’d know you can’t make doom with a fucking banjo, you prodigious bellend.
