To celebrate the release of his new EP Christmas in Haworth, Darren Hayman and Fika Recordings have joined forces to create a Christmas advent calendar. For every day leading up to Christmas, Darren and Fika will give away a split download single by two artists.
A diverse range of artists are set to contribute, including The Wave Pictures, Terry Edwards, Josie Long, Tigercats, Ballboy and Darren himself. The calendar started yesterday with a split single of The Wave Pictures covering Dean Martin’s ‘Christmas Blues’ and Darren doing Elvis’ ‘Blue Christmas’, and continues today with Paul Hawkins and DJ Downfall.
