God Don’t Like It Announce Final Shows

London promoters call it a day with a final run of festive shows

After nearly 4 years spent putting on a huge variety of gigs in the capital – everything from ear-bleeding noise to straight-up pop, via a hefty dollop of dance music – London promoters God Don’t Like It are calling it a day at the end of this year.

Their final run of shows takes place over 4 nights at The Lexington between Christmas and new years and features some great bands, including friends of the Quietus Teeth Of The Sea and DJ Scotch Egg’s ultra-percussive crew Drum Eyes. Tickets for each event are between £5 and £6, or you can get a ticket for all four nights for £12.

Line up so far (with more bands and DJs to be confirmed)

DECEMBER:

27th – Drum Eyes, Deadfader (tickets)

28th – Teeth of the Sea, Devilman & Speak & the Spells (tickets)

29th – Left With Pictures, Eyes & No Eyes & Grant K Fennell (tickets)

30th – Grubby Mitts (tickets)

Before then, though, they’re putting on the almighty line up of Roll The Dice, The Haxan Cloak and Blanck Mass (DJ) at Corsica Studios next Wednesday 30th November. It promises to be a great gig, and comes thoroughly recommended. You can grab tickets for that one here.
