Scottish salmon overlord and mountaineer Mark Eglinton is aiding Rex Brown with the writing of a tome entitled Official Truth, 101 Proof: The Inside Story Of Pantera.
The book is due in the Autumn of 2012 on Da Capo Press and is described as a "starkly honest and revealing" account of his time in the band. Given the chaotic way the band disintegrated and the murder of guitarist Dime, there will be a lot of interest in Brown’s book as he is seen as the closest thing the band had to an impartial observer.
Former Pantera singer Phil Anselmo has also announced his intention to write an autobiography with the assistance of MetalSucks’ Corey Mitchell.
More details as we get them.
