LISTEN: Oneohtrix Remixes Chris Carter

'Moonlight' out soon via Optimo Music, listen on our Soundcloud

Last year, Optimo Music delighted all fans of elegantly crafted electronic music with their reissue of Chris Carter’s The Spaces Between – you can read our interview with Chris all about it here. We’re pleased to now let you know that on November 7th 2011 Optimo Music will release a 12" of Carter’s 1985 track ‘Moonlight’, a wonderful piece of electronic pop that sounds like staring out of the window of an as-yet-uninvented European transport device. Intriguingly, the 12" will also come with an upbeat, perky version by the Neurotic Drum Band (New York duo Ulysses and John Selway). Not on the vinyl but featured on the digital release is a remix by Oneohtrix Point Never that takes the track on a deep journey akin to taking a bath in gently tickling bits of electrical circuitry. Listen to it below, check out the artwork, and get your pre-order click fingers going.
