Just when you thought that there wouldn’t be that many decent albums to come in 2011, Cherry Red have confirmed that the new Fall record will be out this year. Ersatz G.B. (how’s that for a brilliant Fall LP title?) is to be released on November 14th on all customary formats. The tracklisting can be found below, and the collage artwork can be found over at the ace Visi Fall fansite. The Fall were recently interviewed by Ian Harrison of Mojo about Ersatz G.B.. Smith said that "I find it a bit sort of mardy, in a lot of ways. A bit more sort of folky. I’ve gone more for a rhythm section sound this time, and Elena’s keyboard – very weird." Elena Smith said that she felt a good reference point for the new record would be second LP Dragnet, and praises her husband’s vocals on the record: "Mark has developed a new, very urgent style – very powerful, and very fast."
