New Order Reform

...but without Peter Hook and with Gillian

New Order have revealed the details of two European fundraiser gigs to be played in October, without the presence of their influential founding member.

The Manchester outfit will play the Ancienne Belgique on October 17th and La Blataclan on October 18th in order to raise money for friend and filmmaker Michael Shamberg, who is suffering from serious health problems.

Shamberg was the creative producer on New Order’s early videos as well being in charge of the New York wing of Factory Records.

Although Hook will not feature, the band have confirmed that keyboardist Gillian Gilbert will be playing after 10 years away from the group.
