Green Day front man Billy Joe Armstrong has been thrown off a SouthWest Airlines flight for wearing his trousers too low. Despite being one of pop punk’s most recognised stars, he was instructed by an air stewardess to pull up his trousers before taking his seat.
After refusing to comply to her demands, the stewardess called security and he was promptly escorted off.
Although he was allowed to take the next flight to L.A, the singer immediately vented his rage on Twitter stating that "Just got kicked off a SouthWest flight because my pants sagged too low! What the fuck? No joke."
Despite this setback, Green Day have been busy working on new material, recently debuting fifteen new songs at a surprise show in California.
