Help Riot-Struck PIAS – Buy MP3s

The Quietus was saddened to learn that PIAS has lost all of its stock in a warehouse fire last night. As readers of this site you will know that we are firm supporters of British (and worldwide) independent labels.

Because, even to insured labels, this is the kind of thing that can ruin businesses that exist on the breadline, we’re all buying PIAS albums as MP3s today and ask that you do likewise if you can spare the money.

(We’re also in the process of helping organize a fundraiser for people local to The Quietus’ offices in Tottenham made homeless by recent acts of civil disorder but more details on that when we have them.)

Here is a complete list of labels associated with PIAS. Every one of these labels will have released an album that has touched a Quietus reader’s life in a profound way, so please show support.
