As you well know, on August 6th we’ll be in Victoria Park hosting the Village Mentality Stage at the Field Day Festival, with the likes of Wild Beasts, Factory Floor, The Horrors, Gruff Rhys and so on all playing. What you might also like to know is that on the next day, Sunday August 7th, the same organisers are running The Apple Cart Festival, a more genteel event aimed at families and the linen-suited. This will feature live sets by Patrick Wolf, Saint Etienne, Angular Records comic Tim Mincin, Magic Numbers, Andrew Weatherall, Gonzales, Kevin Rowland, Fence Collective and loads of nice ale.
