Free Catherine AD Gig At Union Chapel On Sat
John Doran , June 17th, 2011 11:29

Whatever you may be up to on Friday night, why not soothe yourself the next day with some beauteous music courtesy of Catherine AD who is playing a free concert at the Quietus' pentecostal venue of choice, the Union Chapel.

Catherine herself sends this message: "Just a quick reminder that I'm playing a special Daylight show tomorrow at the beautiful Union Chapel in London (Saturday 18th June) with the string section. Doors are at midday and it's FREE to come along. It's one of my very favourite venues to play for the spectacular views alone... We'll be previewing the songs from the forthcoming mini album - another song from which you can hear here for a limited time (it's a brand new one to most of you): Catherine AD Bandcamp Church Sessions

Also...

You can also now get your hands on the very first Long Day EP as a digital download. Originally made as series of 1000 ribbon-wrapped and hand-stamped CDs, these demo songs were issued as part of a (now sold-out) limited edition EP, available through Rough Trade. Lots of you have asked if there would be any more available and although my hands couldn't face another dose of RSI to make up and thread another batch, you can now grab it as a digital album here: Long Day EP

Also, for those who've been puzzling over how to re-tie their cds, I made a little DIY guide to the making of the ltd edition packaging here: Click here for ribbon help.

See you there. And don't forget, The Union Chapel do a mean brew.
