David Bowie Sends Message Of Support For Nile Rodgers

Singer sends in message to website to support former Chic guitarist in battle against cancer

David Bowie has pledged his support to fellow musician Nile Rodgers after it was revealed that the guitarist had been diagnosed with cancer. Bowie sent in the message to the David Bowie site. Rodgers co-produced Let’s Dance and Black Tie White Noise with the singer in 1983 and 1993 respectively.

His message said: "All our love and support goes out to you, Nile, you are the greatest. David and all at BowieNet."
