Last weekend the Quietus had one of the best Festivals of 2010 type experiences at Supersonic up in Birmingham - a full report on which you will be able to read later. While we were there we popped into Rhubarb Radio for an our long show before Factory Floor came on and blew everyone away, and you can listen to that here. Stuart Braithwaite of Mogwai was our very special guest, hear him talk about the Festival, Mogwai's new LP, and his terrible fear of sponges. We also played music by some of our favourite artistes ancient and modern. Thanks to all at Capsule and the lovely people at Rhubarb for having us on, helping us out, and getting this online so quickly:

If you love our features, news and reviews, please support what we do with a one-off or regular donation. Year-on-year, our corporate advertising is down by around 90% - a figure that threatens to sink The Quietus. Hit this link to find out more and keep on Black Sky Thinking.

We've just been sending the Factory Floor set out to all and sundry. It is being quite heavily retwitted and stuff.

Sorry John, I've only just worked out what your comment meant. Castrovalva are from Leeds and they've got a great album out called We Are A Unit. It's pretty nasty and slightly daft but it's all killer nonetheless. Barring injury or accident we'll be running a feature on them early next year.
