Reggae musician Gregory Isaacs has passed away aged 59, it was revealed today.
According to the BBC, the singer died today after suffering from lung cancer.
Isaacs began his recording career in 1968, with his most-loved album Night Nurse released in 1982.
His wife, Linda, said in a statement: "Gregory was well-loved by everyone, his fans and his family, and he worked really hard to make sure he delivered the music they loved and enjoyed.
"He will be greatly missed by his family and friends."
