Anorak-clad lords of fey mystery Los Campesinos! broke the hearts of their fans earlier today by revealing they’ve had to cancel their appearance at the Culture Shock Festival in New York. The band were scheduled to travel to America from the UK today, but volcanic ash from Iceland caused their flight to be cancelled. Twitter followers of the band were hit with a bombshell when the Cardiff group confirmed: "We are very sad to announce we will be unable to appear at Culture Shock Festival, Purchase NY, tomorrow. No flights out the UK.
