Lily Allen is calling on her showbiz pals to take on the mighty hordes of keyboard warriors and illegal fire-sharers listening to the music made by her and her friends without handing over any cash.
Lily has long been an opponent of giving away music for free, having labelled Radiohead as "arrogant" in 2007 when they gave fans the option of paying as little as they liked for their album In Rainbows , and more recently condemning artists such as Pink Floyd's Nick Mason and Radiohead's Ed O'Brien for condoning file-sharing and "music piracy".
Now, she's summoned the power of the internet to put her point across. Her It's Not Alright blog is drawing support from other musicians against file-sharing including Muse's Matt Bellamy, James Blunt, Natasha Khan aka Bat for Lashes, and Take That's Gary Barlow.
