The Rascals Split Up

Singer Miles Kane goes solo

The Rascals frontman Miles Kane has confirmed that he has left the band and is now pursuing a solo career.

The singer, who teamed up with Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner to form The Last Shadow Puppets, told NME.com that he will now start to work on his own material, while the other members would not continue in the band.

“We can confirm that The Rascals have parted ways," a spokesperson told NME.com. "Miles Kane is currently writing new material and has been in the studio recording some tracks by himself. Greg Mighall and Joe Edwards are working on a film project with ‘Awaydays’ star Liam Boyle.”
