A Field Day Festival Photographic Review
The Quietus , August 9th, 2009 16:03

The Quietus went to Field Day, got wet, and had a bloody lovely time. Here we present a gallery of photos and words from the festival

They hoot, they howl, please pass the towel...

This time around, Field Day's organisers had managed to solve many of the problems that dogged the Festival in the first two years of the event. There were no queues at the bars to get booze, neither were there queues to drop it off in the lavatory afterwards and, aside from the sound during The Horrors, everything seemed louder. Obviously volume is going to be an issue if you're putting on a festival surrounded by an up and coming residential area, so it's hard to see what further action can be taken there.

Instead, The Quietus was left to revel in a day that even 24235235 gallons of rainwater pouring onto East London couldn't dampen. Here, we present a gallery of photographs from the inestimable Dave Ma, snapper extraordinaire.
