50 Cent and singing legend Bette Midler may be teaming up for a jazz duet after they met on a community project.
Hip hop bible The Sun reports that the pair became pals when Midler’s community group the New York Restoration Project built a garden in Mr Cent’s childhood home of Queens. Apparently he part funded the project, "He never asked how much. He just said, ‘Where do I sign?’" said Midler.
She said she was amused by the thought of the "Little Jewish lady and the great big rapper", and gushed, "He’s such a doll. I love him. He’s gorgeous.
"I was hoping we’d sing songs from the Depression, but he’s so young that I don’t think he knows any of them. I’m going to have to check things out and see what he feels like singing."
