Morrissey has made more suggestions that he might not be around making music for much longer.
"I assume most people lose it because they become satisfied and they achieve everything they ever set out to achieve," he told Ian Camfield's Xfm radio show.
"More to the point, they become personally satisfied and that they're quite happy and it doesn't matter any more. It's very interesting that it's very hard to think of anybody who ages and still manages to mean anything."
Camfield asked Morrissey if he thought that he would carry on singing until he was 55 or beyond, to which Moz replied, "I think it's incredibly slim. For Heaven's sake!"

Dearest Morrissey: Wether you like it or nor dear friend, stardom never retires. Frank Sinatra, Jerry Vale, Tont Bennet, Rosemary Clooney, Ertha Kitt, Connie Francis, just to name a few who carried on well past some numerical discription of "age". And YES, they did matter and did still contribute as you will well past 60..Maybe not on all those tour stops, which we appreciate, but from a studio, writing & sharing with us your artistic take on the moment. We do not care that youth won't be on your side, BUT WE WILL....Molly & David xoxoxoxo
