David Bowie is currently recording in Berlin, the place where he recorded three of his finest albums, The Quietus is excited to report.

According to CMU, Bowie announced the fact via a Twitter post that reads "Cheers from a snowy Berlin! Working on some new material!". Berlin is, of course, the place where Bowie got stuck into chang-induced paranoia and recorded Heroes, Low, and Lodger.

Hooray! And let's celebrate with a gallery of videos for Bowie's Berlin tracks. Nearly typed Berlin's Bowie tracks there. Now that would sound odd.

He wrote it himself on his Twitter. Apparently that counts for Gospel these days.

impossibly, i had a really great night out in a pub in wallasey about 10 years ago. i went back last year and was brutally stabbed to death by a small demon in a red coat. so you see, just going back somewhere which was good once is no guarantee of the same outcome.
