Midge Ure back for tour

Synth legends Ultravox have reformed for a 2009 tour. It'll be an Ultravox Mk II affair, though, with Midge Ure rather than John Foxx taking up vocal duties.

The jaunt will be call the "Return To Eden" tour, and will mark the first live appearance since Live Aid in 1985. Read the Quietus interview with John Foxx. Which Ultravox do you prefer?

April 17th - Birmingham Symphony Hall

April 21st - Nottingham Royal Theatre
April 23rd - Brighton Dome
April 24th - London Hammersmith Apollo
April 26th - Bournemouth International Centre
April 27th - Plymouth Pavilion
April 28th - Portsmouth Guildhall

Excellent, Ultravox were classy, intelligent, sophisticated musicians who deserved greater stature and acclaim
