Beastie Boys 'Sure Shot'
Although the Beasties were flagging by this point there were still a couple of gems on Ill Communication such as this and the superb Jimmy Smith monstering 'Root Down'. For all their faults – reinvigorating the flute solo, repopularising golf wear and almost single handedly kicking off the fad for ironic appreciation of awful lounge music – they can be forgiven for the diazepam paced grooves of this cut.
