Berlin Club Tresor Confirms Plans To Reopen

The club has remained close since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020

Famed Berlin club Tresor is opening for the first time in two years next month.

Having closed amid the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe in March 2020, the club had chosen to stay closed until now, even as other Berlin clubs opened in line with local restrictions. Its reopening weekend will take place across May 6 and 7, and see the likes of DJ Stingray 313, Minimal Violence and Function, among others, play. Find more information here.

As Resident Advisor reports, Tresor has undergone a major refurbishment since last closing. Among the alterations is a complete refit of the Globus floor which will be unveiled at the end of May. A new sound system, by Lambda Labs, has also been installed, and the team behind the club has additionally revealed plans to use the venue's various spaces for a variety of events in the future, including live music concerts, film screenings and culture exhibitions.
